Maidens by His Design is a course for young ladies and their mothers (or aunts, grandmothers, and other women in the community) to learn about menstruation from a Biblical perspective. Just as with pregnancy and menopause, our daughters get bombarded with a negative worldview concerning their cycles. This course is designed to reach young ladies before they are indoctrinated with the negative ideas of what it means to be a woman. To do this, we must bring God's name back into the center of all areas of women's lives, including menstruation. This course is targeted to girls from 8-15, but exceptions can be made. The accompanying adult female is encouraged to participate and help guide the girl. Join us for our second annual Walk to Remember. October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month with the 15th being the Remembrance Day. Every year we get together and do a walk to remember the babies gone too soon. Join us at Hartland Park in Lexington, KY from 5 to 7 (no worries if you're a little late!) as we learn more about resources in our area, share in some refreshments, and go on a short walk. The pathway is only 2/10 of a mile and will be lined with the names of the babies we will be remembering.
